How to Add Amazon Products

To use Amazon products and gain a commission you will need an Amazon Associates ID. If you do not have an Amazon Associates ID you can get one from the Amazon Associates website.

When you have an Amazon Associates ID (Or if you already have one) you can add it to your account in your profile settings.

To add Amazon Products to your posts in a new post (Or when editing an old post) scroll down to custom values. Here you will see a drop down box, from which you need to choose ‘amazon_search’, select this.  In the values box beside it you can place your keywords, and use operators.  For instance

Orange would bring back any result with ‘orange’ in it.

“orange fruit” would bring back any result with the word “orange fruit”

orange +fruit would bring back results for orange which also include the word fruit

orange -fruit would bring back results for orange which do not include the word fruit.
