Happy New Year

I have been pretty busy over the last few weeks, but I just wanted to wish all the writers and readers of This is Freelance a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

2011 has been a huge challenge for many of us, with Panda updates throwing many of us in to turmoil on our article directory efforts.

While this is not a big deal for many people who really just want the backlink, if you are looking for traffic then it is a HUGE issue.

The good news is that out of the large number of Panda updates, TiF only got hit once, and it quickly recovered.

The bad news is that while panda updates have had little effect, the slowdown in content submissions has begun to hurt. Remember that more content equals more internal backlinks, more link juice, and hopefully more quality.

So to help incentivise this I have decided to extend the 2011 80% promotion through 2012, which means for the rest of 2012 you will continue to get 80% of all revenue sharing platforms, Adsense, Amazon and eBay on TiF!
